About Us

The team was founded in December of 2019 and is owned by Desmond Williams with the goal of making the community a better place through the game of basketball while helping young men fulfill their dreams of being a professional basketball player. The Ohio Bruins compete in two professional leagues and play year round. In the spring/summer the Bruins play in the Official Basketball Association (OBA) and are inaugural league champions (2021); in the fall/winter the Ohio Bruins play in the American Basketball Association (ABA). 

 

 The Ohio Bruins provide an opportunity for aspiring and professional basketball players to be seen on a global stage.
